Electricians

Our client is a leading provider of transport maintenance services across Australia. Due to new contracts, we are seeking multiple skilled Workshop Electricians based in Newcastle. The successful candidates will be based on a Day Shift Monday - Friday roster for a project up to 3 months in duration, and may have the opportunity to transition into a Permanent Position.

What’s Involved:

• Perform maintenance, repairs and overhauls of locomotives

• Component change outs, testing and panel wiring

• Collaborating as part of a dynamic team

• Diagnostics, inspections and interpreting technical drawings

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade Qualified Electrician + Electrical Licence

• A solid understanding of production, manufacturing or process environments

• Rail maintenance experience is highly regarded, but not essential

• Forklift and First Aid desirable

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

What We Offer You:

• $61 / hour - Day shift rate (casual)

• Up to 3 months work

• Potential for Permanent Placement

• Overtime available

• Based in Newcastle
